Open Level Ballroom for Kids and Teens
(Private Lessons)

We teach Waltz, Tango, Cha Cha, Jive and more in our ballroom dance program for kids and teens. We offer private lessons for your child or teen to work one-on-one with one of our qualified ballroom dance instructors.

Our youth ballroom instructor, Tais Zhukova, has been dancing since the age of five and now has over seven years of experience working with children and competitive dancers of all ages. If your child is interested in competing, Tais can help guide them along the way, as she and her own partner were 2022 Open Amateur Ballroom National Finalists. Tais also has an excellent handle on technique and how to tailor a dance education to make it fun and engaging for children of all ages.

Open Level Ballet for Kids and Teens
(Private Lessons)

Our youth ballet program teaches a variety of different styles, from classical to contemporary ballet, focusing on technique, choreography, and musicality. Lessons are good for all levels, even those who have never taken ballet before. Our teachers work with their students using age-appropriate techniques with the goal of cultivating a lifelong love of dance.

Ballet is the foundation for most formal dance instruction, and can either be taken by itself, or as a supplement to our ballroom dance program. Our youth ballet program is a fun and safe environment, but also teaches valuable skills such as flexibility, balance, strength, coordination, and discipline.

Tais Zhukova

Tais started her dance journey in Ukraine at the young age of 5. She was introduced to ballroom dance after an accidental encounter, and has been in the industry ever since. Upon moving to the United States at age 12, she began working with well-known master coaches Dima and Olga Sukachov. Although Tais is strictly a ballroom instructor, many other forms of dance interest her. In her teaching, Tais strives to educate her students on proper body mechanics and safe dance techniques. With over seven years of experience working with children and competitive dancers of all ages, Tais is a highly qualified instructor in her field. Tais and her partner were 2022 Open Amateur Ballroom National Finalists.

Olivia Pritchard

Olivia's dance journey started in gymnastics and ballet at the age of 7. In high school, she shifted her focus to jazz and competitive ballroom, where she earned many gold medals in American Smooth and Rhythm. In college, she found her true love for dance through contemporary, improv, and ballet, where she studied the Vaganova style. At ADC, Olivia uses her diverse dance history alongside her experience working in healthcare to help students grow as dancers in technique, strength, flexibility, and in finding their own voice and expression through their bodies. Olivia teaches ballet, stretch and flexibility, and strength and conditioning classes for dancers.
